Bringing you next-generation commercial glasshouses
Hermans Technisolar panels can directly replace the glass panels traditionally used in greenhouses. Recognising the benefits of these panels for greenhouse construction, our frames are designed to be integrated into greenhouse structures, to make maximum use of the sun’s power.
Hermans Technipower energy storage solutions increase the potential to make efficient use of self-generated energy sources. They offer assurance against power-grid outages, reducing instability and equipment failure, and can shift power between peak and off-peak rates of electricity, for excellent cost savings in horticultural settings.
Iberdeli, Ridderkerk, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
For the company Iberdeli, located in Ridderkerk, Rotterdam, the challenge was to reduce operational costs while meeting high sustainability standards, without compromising on safety.
The Hermans Technisolar solution was to supply and install 330 high-quality solar panels, with two advanced inverters to ensure a strong energy yield. It was important that we carried out this process carefully and the results are clear. The Scope 12 inspection confirmed our compliance with the highest sustainability standards, while the VCA* certification highlighted the safety of our installation.
The company is now experiencing significantly lower operating costs thanks to the shift to renewable energy generation, showing how the impact of this project goes beyond cost savings. It is proof of how sustainable energy not only benefits the environment, but also makes business processes more efficient.

Proud to be part of Portlantis
At Hermans Techniek, we are excited to be delivering and mounting pre-insulated pipes for the stunning Portlantis exhibition space and visitor centre in Rotterdam (Netherlands).
Sustainability is at the forefront of the project with Portlantis not only using sustainable materials but also operating as an energy-neutral structure. This is made possible by its compact design, effective insulation and mechanical systems, enabling the generation of energy on-site through its own windmill, 266 solar panels and our pre-insulated pipes which sustainably carry water at a constant temperature and reduce the need for heating or cooling.
We will be carrying out the work in early spring 2024 and cannot wait to see the facility open this year. Offering spectacular views of the coastline, port and ocean, Portlantis will be a truly iconic addition to the Rotterdam skyline.
